There is a network outage in the data centre in Brussels, causing the cloud servers to no longer communicate with the underlying storage.
History
- 1h20: Our monitoring systems indicate an issue affecting a large number of cloud servers in the data centre in Brussels.
- 1h28: After an initial analysis of the situation, it is clear that this is a network-related problem. It is immediately escalated to the data centre administrators.
- 1h48: The issue arose following a change in the network configuration. A reboot of the core switches is required. This may take approximately another 30 minutes.
- 2h15: The reboot of the core switches is complete. We are now proceeding with the reboot of the cloud servers.
- 3h00: The reboot of the cloud servers is complete. Most services should be available again. We are now investigating issues with individual servers.
